1] POLICY STATEMENT


All managers and employees should follow this policy as guidance when following matters of inability.


2] PURPOSE OF THE POLICY


Moving Parcels’s accessibility policy outlines our provisions for people with disabilities. We want to make our premises, services, products and equipment available to all people respecting their individual needs, dignity, independence and equal opportunity.


3] REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURE


3.1 This policy applies to all prospective or current employees of Moving Parcels, as well as contractors and visitors, who possess a disability of any kind that restricts them in various ways. Moving Parcels is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities. We are committed to treating people with disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence.
3.2 We believe in integration, and we are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner. We will do so by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and by meeting our accessibility requirements under South Africa’s accessibility laws. This policy demonstrates the commitment that has made to fostering and supporting a diverse workforce and to integrating equal opportunity for people with disabilities into Moving Parcels policies, procedures, decisions and operations.
3.3 Moving Parcels is committed to supporting a culture that values the promotion of a positive and safe environment for all its employees and an environment that reflects the company’s organizational values, in accordance with the principles of understanding, acceptance and inclusion.

4] APPLICABILITY


This policy covers all the employees and job applicants as well as those employees who become disabled during their employment. Where relevant also covers the stuff by agencies working premises of Moving Parcels.


5] POLICY STATEMENT


5.1 The policy covers all arrears of employment in which includes promotion, recruitment and training. Moving Parcels will ensure that people with disability will receive equal treatment in training and development and be supplied with additional training. A flexible approach will be adopted and justified, consideration to reallocation of duties, time off rehabilitation, assessment or rehabilitation, assessment or treatment or other appropriate to ensure equal opportunity.
5.2 Every endeavour will be made to ensure that the contract workers are also not been discriminated against because of a disability and will ensure that any employees or other agencies that may be used are aware of this policy.
